Teamwork Principles

Team Principals are topics or behaviors that you would like to work on as a team in a work environment.

You may choose from any of the teamwork principles or speak to us about principles your team is interested in.

 

Team Principles Include:

1-Not carrying baggage with you.

  • Every project needs have a startover mentality.
  • When we start to carry baggage with us, it will consume brain power.
  • Once we decide to shed the baggage, our brains get a lot more capacity and more creativity.

Task: Hiking through heavy forest while carrying a log, compounded by asking others to carry it with you. (“If only they’d get rid of so and so.”)

2-Happiness at work.

  • Stay hopeful and engaged.
  • Don’t take on everyone else’s problems.
  • Let people stand on their own two feet.
  • It’s not a problem until it’s a problem.

Task: Scavenger hunt\Revolver

3-Don’t take on a victim mentality.

  • Victims are statistics.
  • Victor vs. victim

Task: Pile rocks on your buddy

4-Make the decision, eliminate hesitation.

  • You have to find a balance between due diligence and compromising productivity.
  • Be the solution. You know what the task is; jump in and do it.
  • Don’t burden the decision maker.

Task: Cut path into thicket
